One of the true benefits of the Internet is our ability to interact with each other. I want to hear what you think! The best way for you to respond to the things I write here is to leave a comment. Here's how to do that:
- At the bottom of the section to which you want to respond, click on the link that says "Comments". This will allow you to read what others have written and add your own thoughts.
- Fill in the form at the bottom of the page that loads next. If you don't have an email address or a website URL, you can leave those blank. Your name and your comments are the most important part.
- Click "Preview" (if you want to see how your comment will look) or "Post" (if you just want to add your comment without previewing it first).
- That's it! Your comment will be connected to the post from now on, and the conversation is underway!

I found this website by putting in to google "letters from Mothers to Daughters" as I am desperate to communicate with my 18 year old daughter. I've had to ask/tell her to leave my home 3 times in the last 14 months because she was using Meth. Each time she's gone to live with her father two hours away. Each time she comes home she's fine for awhile then goes back to her old ways. I always considered myself a good Mom when she was growing up; we did things together, went on vacations together, over indulged her at birthdays/Christmas etc. But I couldn't deal with the drugs, tatoos, piercings and her friends. Now she truly hates me and I need to get through to her. If I write her an e-mail she sends me a "scathing" one in return. I'm not strong; physically or emotionally....she blames the begining of the use of "meth" on my because I went in the hospital and had surgery for cancer (thyroid)....PLEASE, IF ANYONE HAS ANY THOUGHTS OR WAYS I COULD GET THROUGH TO HER I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. I'M ALMOST FEELING LIFE IS NOT WORTH LIVING; I KEEP REMEMBERING "THE LITTLE GIRL". I wanted to get her in "treatment" when she was still under 18 but my ex-husband would have nothing to do with it; so treatment is out of the question. I look forward to hearing from anyone!
